Letter A, day 8/14, 8/365
I don’t have arthritis. I don’t know anyone that does (or openly talks about it). I’ve seen enough movies to have an impression of what it is, if not what it feels like.
Like this prompt by Elizabeth Groeschen of three phrases, I thought of three things for this shot: hands, pills, and water. To add a dramatic effect, I positioned my softbox directly under the table.
This is a very simple shot. The only trick was framing it in a way that excluded the softbox. I was constrained by the fact that there is a wrought-iron grate at the bottom of the table. I had to stuff the gear in between that and the bottom of the glass. This is what happens when you plan something without actually looking at it. I’ve had to rush to take this shot and write this post on my lunch break. God bless 라면 (ramyeon).
I lightly processed this shot, adjusting the white balance a bit and reducing the saturation a touch in order to achieve a slightly colder feel to the shot.
